Inside, the flesh is acidic, semi-sweet, and very juicy. You can eat a good Amalfi lemon the same way you would eat an apple or orange if you so wish. Along the Amalfi coast, it is commonly enjoyed cut into pieces, sprinkled with salt, a drizzle of olive oil, and a scattering of mint.
